Work from Home Seamstress

The Seamstress is responsible for the accurate and timely sewing of our products. This is a work from home, piece-work, permanent position with workloads designed to fit the Seamstress' schedule. We are filling multiple openings. 

Responsibilities

  • Pick up incomplete projects at our Morris location and deliver completed projects to our Morris location
  • Correctly pin fabric to ensure accurate sewing
  • Sew fabric into finished products ensuring finished products meets our standards
  • Securely store products prior to their delivery to our Shop

Requirements

  • Own a sewing machine in good working order
  • Maintain operation of sewing machine
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to consistently arrive at our shop on a set date and time once per week to pick up incomplete projects and deliver completed projects
  • Must sew in a smoke free environment
  • Must have a dedicated sewing space away from animals/pets
  • Must have sewing experience
  • Experience sewing with minky fabric is considered an asset (training will be provided regardless of experience with minky)
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Strives for excellence and has the desire to improve performance
  • Willing to learn new methods and able to adapt to change easily and confidently
  • Ability to take direction and constructive criticism
  • Must have consistent internet access

Seamstress Kit Coordinator

The Seamstress Kit Coordinator is responsible for the overall successful and timely completion of our Seamstress Kits. Seamstress Kits contain all the materials required for the Seamstress to complete their weekly projects.

This is an hourly paid, full-time, permanent position consisting of approximately 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. 

Responsibilities

  • Gather, organize and pack materials required for each Seamstress' Kit
  • Organize Bulk and Cut Fabric
  • Other duties as assigned

LIVE Show Assistant

The LIVE Show Assistant is responsible for providing administrative assistance before, during and after the selling of our products LIVE on Social Media. This is a permanent position with hours of work primarily in the evening Monday through Thursday. Some weekend work is an option. This will begin as a part time position quickly evolving to full time. 

Responsibilities

  • Track product sales during our LIVE shows
  • Verify and record customer payments and other relevant sales information
  • Provide assistance with customer queries through Social Media and Email before, during and after each LIVE show
  • Other duties as assigned

Ecommerce Coordinator

The Ecommerce Coordinator oversees the look and feel of the company Ecommerce website and is responsible for generating and supporting all sales via online channels.

This position requires a self-starter experienced with maintaining and updating Ecommerce websites and using Social Media platforms and Email Marketing to generate sales. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude prepared to work in an upbeat, collaborative work environment, armed with the desire to exceed customer expectations while growing our custom order division and its sales. 

This is an hourly paid, full-time, permanent position consisting of approximately 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the company Ecommerce website including but not limited to collections, products, and information pages; Recognize the need for and implement additional website content/graphics
  • Maintain and update the company Social Media platforms; Create and execute short and long term marketing strategies for Social Media and Email Marketing
  • Identify, suggest and implement sales and marketing strategies and improvements through constant website and social media interactions
  • Process customer orders; Respond to and resolve customer inquiries before and during production, and after shipment
  • Collaborate with the Shipping and Production teams to ensure custom orders are moved through the production and shipping process accurately and efficiently
  • Create and continually update a content database; Take photographs for online use
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Post Secondary education is considered an asset
  • Proven experience maintaining and updating Ecommerce websites and using Social Media platforms and Email Marketing to generate sales
  • Highly motivated with a desire to grow our custom order division and its sales
  • Understands and values the importance of a positive and seamless customer experience
  • Excellent communication skills; Comfortable communicating through email both internally and externally; Works to exceed customer expectations
  • Strong work ethic with creative problem solving and multitasking skills; Organized with acute attention to detail
